Doubles and Triples (T) CDL Endorsement

doubles and triples, cdl doubles and triples endorsement, doubles, triples
This exam is taken by only those who require a "T" (Doubles and Triples) endorsement because they will pull two or more trailers.

The Kentucky CDL Doubles and Triples (T) Vehicles Endorsement can be added to a valid Kentucky CDL by simply passing a Doubles and Triples Vehicle written test and paying the fee. Check your specific Kentucky CDL Information for details.

Certain states prohibit triple trailers statewide, such as California, Florida, and New York. A Class A CDL license is required to obtain the (T) endorsement.

The Doubles and Triples (T) Endorsement written test study material includes:
  • Kentucky CDL Manual - SECTION 7: Towing Double/Triple Trailers
  • Kentucky CDL Manual - SECTION 7: Coupling and Uncoupling
  • Kentucky CDL Manual - SECTION 7: Inspecting Doubles and Triples
  • Kentucky CDL Manual - SECTION 7: Doubles/Triples Air Brake Check
The Kentucky Doubles and Triples (T) Endorsement CDL test study material is covered in Section 7 of the Free Kentucky CDL Handbook (Commercial Driver's License Manual).
